Job Title: Registered General Nurse

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered General Nurse to join our team at Chaucer House in Canterbury, Kent. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care and support to our residents, working collaboratively with our healthcare assistants and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide hands-on nursing care and management of clinical interventions, directing healthcare assistants as needed.
  • Contribute to the business success of the home by organizing and managing staff to provide a high standard of nursing and social care.
  • Ensure staff under your direction provides high standards of care in line with Avante's Philosophy of Care, based on the Eden Alternative.
  • Lead and promote a stimulating and caring environment by exhibiting high standards of clinical leadership and nursing care practice.
  • Ensure that each service user receives nursing care and support appropriate to their individual assessed needs, clearly evidenced on the care plan.
