Registered General Nurse Opportunity

Avante Care and Support is a leading provider of nursing and dementia care services, supporting over 1000 older people through our registered nursing and home care services.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered General Nurse to join our team at Chaucer House in Canterbury, Kent. As a Registered General Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care and support to our residents, working collaboratively with our Health Care Assistants and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on nursing care and management of clinical interventions, directing Health Care Assistants as needed.
  • Contribute to the business success of the home by organizing and managing staff to provide a high standard of nursing and social care.
  • Ensure staff under your direction provides high standards of care in line with Avante's Philosophy of Care and all relevant nursing procedures.
  • Lead and promote a stimulating and caring environment, exhibiting high standards of clinical leadership and nursing care practice.
  • Ensure each Service User receives nursing care and support appropriate to their individual assessed needs.
