Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team at CSS Contracts Support Services Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction health and safety and a NEBOSH general or construction certificate.

Main Responsibilities
  • Advise and manage all health and safety matters, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations, including preparing, reviewing, and updating policies.
  • Prepare method statements and risk assessments for construction projects and factory operations.
  • Support others in completing method statements and risk assessments.
  • Conduct site audits as required.
  • Provide health and safety advice at the pre-construction phase of projects.
  • Ensure employees are trained and competent in their roles.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a NEBOSH general or construction certificate.
  • A valid CSCS card is essential for this role.
  • A full UK driving licence is required for regular travel throughout the South of England.

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
