Swimming Coach

We are seeking a skilled Swimming Instructor to join our team at Bannatyne Health Club in Braintree.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about swimming and working with children. As a Swimming Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that meet and exceed ASA standards within the Learn to Swim framework.

You will be part of a dynamic team that operates throughout the year, providing continuous learning, development, and progression for our students. We are looking for an individual who is hardworking, reliable, and flexible, with the ability to work a variety of hours including evenings and weekends.

• To deliver swimming lessons to children of all ages and abilities
• To create and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of each student
• To maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
• To communicate effectively with parents and colleagues

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Level 2 ASA qualification is essential
• A Current rescue test or National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is desirable
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and rapport with children and their parents
• The ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the swimming lesson programme
• An understanding of relevant health and safety legislation
