Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced mechanical assembler to join our team at Polytec. Based in Cambridge, you will work closely with our client, assembling, cleaning, and inspecting optico-electro-mechanical assemblies.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Assemble, clean, and inspect optico-electro-mechanical assemblies
  2. Test, focus, and align optico-electro-mechanical assemblies
  3. Identify defective products or materials during production
  4. Record, test, and enter data into production databases
Essential Requirements
  • Previous experience in small form factor electro-mechanical assembly is essential
  • A documented engineering/skills qualification is required
  • IT literacy is necessary
Benefits

The salary for this role is £24,000 to £26,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of the position and the skills required.
