Electrical Technician

We are currently seeking skilled electrical/mechanical technicians to start work immediately in a Cambridge-based manufacturing facility.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Read, comprehend, interpret, and follow engineering drawings, schematics, and electrical code specifications to assemble equipment efficiently.
  2. Troubleshoot mechanical assemblies and electrical circuits with precision, ensuring quality products.
  3. Test and maintain products on behalf of R&D from time to time, providing valuable feedback to develop and improve new and existing product ranges.
  4. Become familiar with, uphold, and adhere to the Company's processes, policies, and procedures.
  5. Work towards commissioning products to required safety and quality standards, undertaking testing and adjustments, and completing the signing-off processes.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 Manufacturing or Electrical Engineering qualification, ideally higher level, plus technical knowledge and practical experience to support the qualification.
  • Experience working with various PLC systems is essential.
  • Broad base of engineering skills, including electrical, mechanical, and electronic disciplines.
  • Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - Depending on Experience
