As an HR Coordinator with KalVista Pharmaceuticals Ltd, you will provide essential administrative support to the HR Director and take ownership of day-to-day HR operations in Salisbury. This role requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to managing multiple tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the HR Director with administration tasks, including recruitment, scheduling interviews, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Facilitate onboarding processes by preparing necessary materials, scheduling orientation sessions, and ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive HR documentation, contracts, and offboarding procedures.
  • Utilise the HRIS system to accurately record and update employee information, adhering to strict confidentiality protocols.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, company policies, and other HR-related matters in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assist in planning and executing HR programs, training sessions, and employee development activities to enhance workplace productivity.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to address employee relations issues and handle internal/external inquiries.
  • Track probation review dates and remind line managers accordingly.

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, enabling efficient task prioritisation in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proactive approach to work, with the ability to operate independently and make informed decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional multitasking and prioritisation abilities, ensuring timely completion of tasks and projects.

This position offers a competitive salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, depending on the specific location and additional factors.
