Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our team at ThinkWorkforce.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will provide high-quality minor injury and illness services to patients attending our Urgent Care (UTC) facility. As an independent and autonomous practitioner, you will work closely with a team of nurses and GPs to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and supervision to band six and student Emergency Nurse Practitioners
  • Manage and develop the skills of the team to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Consult patients of all ages, including pediatrics
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as necessary

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in minor injury and illness management
  • Valid driver's license (for mobile shifts)

Desirable Qualifications

  • Evidence of X-Ray competencies
  • Experience in suturing and palliative care
  • Catheter skills and certificate (male and female)
