Orthotic Care Practitioner Opportunity at Opcare Limited

We are seeking a skilled Orthotic Care Practitioner to join our dynamic team in Belfast, Northern Ireland. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing patients, prescribing orthotics, and guiding them towards optimal rehabilitation outcomes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing patients in various clinics, working closely with Physiotherapists, NHS Doctors, and other members of the interdisciplinary team as appropriate.
  • Providing orthotic treatment based on best practice and advancing the delivery of the Opcare orthotic service by embracing evidence-based medicine and the results of Clinical audit.
  • Ensuring the delivery of high-quality care for all patients and the smooth running of the service.
  • Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams (MDTs) and inputting on initiatives within the centre service development plan.

The successful candidate will join an enthusiastic and busy team and be supported with local, regional, and national training to develop their clinical skills to support the service. We aim to deliver a first-class service for users while applying the most advanced and exciting clinical and technical solutions available to patients.
