As a Rehabilitation Assistant, you will have the chance to bring your passion and enthusiasm to the largest pan-disability charity in the UK, making a real difference to the lives of our customers.

You will assist people with an ARBI to rediscover and learn life skills, aiding their progression towards rehabilitation, and the development of personal and community living skills through maximising options, encouraging choice, participation, and motivation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist people with an ARBI to develop life skills and progress towards rehabilitation.
  • Support the development of personal and community living skills.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide high-quality specialist support.
  • Contribute to the creation of a safe and supportive environment.

Requirements

  • Level 2 in Health and Social Care (Adults).
  • Experience of providing personal care.
  • Previous experience working in a complex needs setting.
  • Level 2 in food hygiene or willingness to attain it once in post.
  • Familiarity with the needs assessment and rehabilitation planning process.
  • Ability to work flexibly within rostered hours and participate in an on-call rota if required.
  • Full driving license (where driving is required).
  • Commitment to Leonard Cheshire's ethos and values.
  • Registration with NISCC.
