Support Families in Need

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as 1:1 Volunteers, providing vital support to families in our community.

As a 1:1 Volunteer, you will work closely with families, offering a listening ear and a helping hand. You will be matched with a family based on your level of experience and availability.

Our 1:1 Volunteers come from diverse backgrounds and bring a range of skills and experiences to the role. We provide comprehensive training, including a safeguarding course, to ensure you feel confident and equipped to support families.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing emotional support and guidance to families
  • Working closely with families to understand their needs and develop a support plan
  • Attending regular supervision sessions to reflect on your practice and receive feedback

We are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for both our volunteers and the families we serve. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding role.

Please note that this role requires a minimum commitment of 12 months and is only suitable for individuals over 21 years old. We also require a DBS check, which we can arrange if necessary.
