**Job Summary**

We are looking for an experienced Enhanced Therapeutic Support Worker to join our Enhanced Care Team at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust. As an Enhanced Therapeutic Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering enhanced therapeutic care, personal support, and supervision to meet the additional physical and psychological wellbeing needs of patients.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work collaboratively with ward Registered Nurses and Ward Managers to provide 1:1 patient support and supervision on wards across both Telford and Shrewsbury hospital sites. You will have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge through our comprehensive training program and contribute to the advancement of patient care and service quality.

We offer a competitive salary of £25,500 - £31,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a supportive work environment that encourages professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver enhanced therapeutic care, personal support, and supervision to meet the additional physical and psychological wellbeing needs of patients.
  • Collaborate with ward Registered Nurses and Ward Managers to provide 1:1 patient support and supervision.
  • Develop and implement holistic activity and care plans to support patients' changing needs.

Requirements:

  • Good level of spoken and written English.
  • Previous healthcare experience.
  • Demonstrates ability to pass on knowledge to others.
