Electrical Maintenance Specialist

VanRath is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their dynamic team. As part of their continued growth, they are committed to delivering high-quality products and services while ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of their electrical systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in a timely manner, adhering to safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff and departments to coordinate repairs and upgrades, ensuring seamless operations.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work, including repairs, inspections, and modifications, to facilitate future reference and improvement.
- Participate in the planning and execution of electrical projects, including equipment upgrades and new installations, to enhance the reliability and performance of facilities.
- Assist in developing and implementing maintenance procedures and schedules to optimize resource allocation and efficiency.
- Provide technical support and training to other team members as needed, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
- Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Maintenance, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including PLCs, motors, drives, and control systems.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in electrical maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
What We Offer:
- Salary of £35,000 - £40,000.
- Shift allowance (for evening shift, NO NIGHTS REQUIRED).
