Teaching Assistant SEN Specialist

We are currently looking for a highly skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Secondary SEND school in Barnet. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with SEND.
About the PositionThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting pupils with SEND, including those with ASD, ADHD and PMLD. They will be comfortable working in small groups and one-to-one settings, as well as running interventions in the afternoons.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting pupils with complex needs, including Anxiety, Depression, SEMH, and high-functioning Autism
- Engaging and supporting pupils' learning
- Developing therapeutic relationships with pupils
- To understand therapy goals and aims
- To promote and support the inclusion of all pupils in learning activities and maximise their achievement
The successful candidate can expect:
- Free SEND workshop - Online
- Free Team Teach Level 1 Training - Online
- Competitive salary: £28,000 - £38,000 per annum
- School based in Barnet
- Full-time - 5 days a week
- Opportunity for a permanent contract
- Contract 12-39 weeks
