Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Onsite Medical Representative to join our Amazon Workplace Health and Safety team. As an Onsite Medical Representative, you will play a critical role in supporting the health and well-being of our associates by providing first aid, administering medical care, and promoting a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide First Aid and Medical Care: Independently assess and administer first aid to associates, as well as provide guidance on occupational and non-occupational injuries or illnesses.
  • Support Safety Operations: Function as a part of the larger team onsite, assisting with all first aid needs and supporting safety operations as needed.
  • Maintain Records and Reports: Maintain accurate records of care provided to associates, including daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
  • Coordinate Workers' Compensation and Return-to-Work Programs: Coordinate and maintain workers' compensation and return-to-work programs for associates with work-related injuries.
  • Engage with Associates and Leadership: Engage with associates and leadership on the operations floor to provide coaching on observed at-risk work habits.
  • Maintain a Clean Working Environment: Maintain a clean and organized working environment, ensuring that all medical supplies are properly stocked and maintained.
  • Participate in Training and Certification: Participate in training and certification programs to maintain first aid, CPR, and AED certifications.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Valid Card Evidencing Successful Completion of Standard First Aid with CPR/AED Level A or C
  • Valid Provincial Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) Certification or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) Certification
  • One Year of Job Experience as a Military Medical Technician (Canadian Armed Forces)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified to Teach First Aid, CPR, and AED Training
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Industrial Wellness Programs
  • Experience Managing Musculoskeletal Disorders, Ergonomics, and Coaching on Body Mechanics
  • Demonstrated Work Experience with OSHA Regulations and Workers' Compensation
  • Proficient in Digital Recordkeeping
