Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our team in Bilborough. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Recording and maintaining financial transactions on accounting software, specifically Sage Line 50.
  • Maintaining communication with banks and tracking account balances.
  • Preparing and filing quarterly VAT returns.
  • Preparing customer invoices and collecting debts.
  • Credit control.
  • Reconciling supplier statements and making timely payments.
  • Processing payroll on Sage software and reconciling PAYE, Pension & Net wages accounts.
  • Managing employee expenses.
  • Preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts.
  • Assisting the accountant by providing information for annual accounts.
  • General admin duties.
  • Maintaining office efficiency and keeping management informed.

The working hours are Monday to Thursday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, and Friday, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break each day. This is a temporary to permanent role.

To be considered for this position, you must have prior experience as an Office Manager, extensive knowledge of Sage Line 50, excellent computer and administrative skills, and demonstrate payroll experience.

The salary for this role is £15.25 per hour, depending on experience.
