Job Overview:

This role is part of our Strategic Infrastructure team, responsible for delivering 17 major new projects to connect clean, low-carbon power to the transmission network in England and Wales. You'll be involved in securing land rights and negotiating compensation settlements for these projects.



Your Responsibilities:
  • You'll provide expert land rights services and gain experience working with multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, legal and consenting specialists.
  • You'll contract manage suppliers to deliver high-quality lands services and report on project progress.
  • You'll understand and apply knowledge of statutory powers available to us, as well as consent regimes relevant to linear projects.
  • You'll support overall project delivery from a Lands lens.


What You'll Get:
  • A competitive salary of £34,895 per annum, reflecting your skills and experience.
  • An additional £2,000 bonus upon joining the programme.
  • 26 days annual leave, plus an extra allowance for travel.
  • A £2,400 payment upon successful completion of the programme.
