We are seeking an experienced and passionate Personal Tutor to join our team at Paragon Skills. As a Personal Tutor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning to our learners, helping them to achieve their qualifications and reach their full potential.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative organization that is committed to delivering exceptional teaching and learning experiences. As a Personal Tutor, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting a caseload of learners with progressive visits, observations, and providing outstanding teaching and learning to further enhance their knowledge and skills.
- Using our sophisticated LMS system, BUD, to monitor learner progress and work collaboratively with our Learning Support team to ensure that every learner receives the support they need.
- Delivering an outstanding experience for all learners and employers, including engaging, motivating, and inspiring learners to achieve their work-based qualification.
- Managing a minimum funded diverse caseload of learners in Early Years/Childcare.
- Providing valuable and insightful feedback to every learner to stretch and challenge them and enable further professional development.
- Building and nurturing strong relationships with our employer partners.
- Championing and encouraging the use of Elevate Workshops.
- Driving progression through impactful visits.
- Providing detailed feedback to learners and employers following review meetings or observations.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of Level 3 Assessor qualification (CAVA, TAQA, D32, A1, V1).
- A teaching qualification (AET, PTTLS, CET, Cert Ed, PGCE).
- Level 3 or 5 qualifications within the Early Years/Childcare sector.
- Occupational competency at a senior level.
- Experience of delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
- Experience of managing a diverse caseload.
- Knowledge and experience of EPA.
- Ability to adapt and differentiate sessions depending on different learning styles and accessibility levels.
- Ability to manage own time and resources effectively.
- Able to travel and commit to in-person learner observations.
