About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team at Benton House School. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing high-quality education services to students with complex needs.
As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and teaching individual students or small groups in accordance with our Curriculum framework and related policies. You will also monitor, record, and report on student progress, contributing to the development and implementation of an environment and programme of learning for each student.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students
- Monitoring and recording student progress, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategies to support student growth
- Contributing to the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and other relevant plans
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a seamless learning experience for all students
- Adequately planning to ensure the safety of students while on and off site
