We are seeking a Special Needs Assistant Professional to join our dynamic team at Upton Grange School in the South East. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with education professionals to provide high-quality support to children and young people with special educational needs.

About the Role:

Your primary responsibility will be to provide evidence-based assessments and interventions under the supervision of a qualified clinician. You will contribute to placement plans, develop communication profiles, and deliver a range of therapies to support children and young people with SEN. Additionally, you will participate in observations, co-facilitate staff training, attend multi-agency meetings, and engage in ongoing service development.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessments and interventions under clinical supervision
  • Develop communication profiles and contribute to placement plans
  • Observe in school settings and co-facilitate staff training
  • Attend multi-agency meetings and participate in ongoing service development

Requirements:

  • 5 x GCSE's Grade C or above, including English
  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in a relevant field
  • Experience working with individuals with special educational needs would be advantageous
  • Ability to work collaboratively with education professionals and other stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational skills and experience completing administration tasks for a team would be advantageous
