Development Cost Controller

MCS Group is looking for an experienced Development Cost Controller to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the cost and commercial aspects of our residential, commercial, or mixed-use development projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring that costs are accurately predicted and tracked.
  • Monitor and report on project costs against the budget, ensuring any discrepancies are identified and addressed.
  • Lead procurement strategies for contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction contracts and cost management techniques. Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in using quantity surveying software are also required. A bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in quantity surveying, with at least 2-3 years in a senior role.
