About the Role
We are SkillsHouse Bradford, a dynamic and ambitious international organization that is constantly changing. As a Machine Operator at our company, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of enthusiastic and driven colleagues in a pleasant working environment.
Main Responsibilities
• Operate a Bobst Die Cutting machine with precision and attention to detail.
• Set up and maintain the Die cutting machine, ensuring all creases and waste are stripped to company standards.
• Monitor and fine-tune machine running speeds to achieve targets and maintain efficiencies.
• Report any tooling damages or upgrades/replacements required to the Team Leader and design team.
• Perform weekly routine maintenance, cleaning down the machine and working with the engineering team to grease and replace worn parts.
• Learn and operate other process lines and machines, such as folder gluers and printers, as part of our training and development plans.
Requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and machine operating experience.
• A team player with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Essential requirements include excellent attention to detail, machine operating experience, and a team player mindset.
• Desirable requirements include experience within the packaging industry, Die Cutting operating experience, and forklift driving experience.
