About the Role:

We are SkillsHouse Bradford, a dynamic and ambitious international organization that is constantly changing. We offer a challenging position within a flat hierarchy and short decision-making paths, where you will have direct communication with colleagues across the UK business unit as required on a project-by-project basis.

Main Responsibilities:


• Operate a Folding & Gluing machine to ensure efficient production and high-quality products.

• Set up and adjust the machine to support various size board products, adhering to company standards and specifications.

• Monitor and fine-tune machine running speeds to maintain consistency and achieve targets.

• Report any folding or glue issues to the team leader and design team to resolve and prevent sending poor-quality products to customers.

• Perform weekly routine maintenance, cleaning the machine to maintain high BRC standards, and work with the engineering team to grease and replace worn parts.

• Learn and operate other process lines and machines, such as Die Cutters, Laminators, and Printers, as part of the company's training and development plans.

Requirements:


• Excellent attention to detail is essential.

• Machine operating experience is required.

• A team player who is prepared to help others.

• Continuous improvement mindset.

• Experience within the packaging industry is desirable.

• Die cutting operating experience is advantageous.

• Forklift driving experience is advantageous due to the availability of multi-skilled work.
