Machine Operator – Die Cutter

About the Role
We are SkillsHouse Bradford, a dynamic and ambitious international organization that is constantly changing. We offer a challenging position within a flat hierarchy and short decision-making paths, with direct communication with colleagues across the UK business unit.
Main Responsibilities
• Operate a Bobst Die Cutting machine with precision and efficiency.
• Set up and maintain Die cutting machine, ensuring all creases and waste are stripped to company standards.
• Monitor and fine-tune machine running speeds to achieve targets and maintain consistency.
• Report to Team Leader and design team with any tooling damages or upgrades/replacements required.
• Perform weekly routine maintenance, cleaning down machine and working with engineering team to grease and replace worn parts.
• Learn and operate other process lines & machines, such as folder gluers and printers, as part of the company's training and development plans.

Level 2
Essential and Desirable Skills
Essential Requirements:
• Excellent attention to detail is a must.
• Machine Operating Experience is essential.
• A team player – prepared to help others.
• Continuous improvement minded.
Desirable Requirements:
• Experience within the packaging industry
• Die Cutting operating experience is advantageous.
• Forklift driving is advantageous due to multi-skilled work available.
