About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Compliance Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing building control services and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and standards.

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage building control services for a range of projects, including major developments in complex environments.
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations and manage the building control role for each project.
  • Regularly communicate with key stakeholders to maintain service standards and ensure projects are delivered in compliance with building regulations.
  • Assess the compliance of relevant projects with Building Regulations and Health and Safety matters, and permit or refuse project handover as appropriate.
  • Operate in line with RBCA and RBI licence obligations.
  • Ensure building control activities meet performance standards and comply with internal ISO 9001 Quality Management processes.
Requirements:
  • Mandatory Qualifications:
  • A current license as a Registered Building Inspector at Class 3G or 3H level (Class 2F considered).
  • Degree in Building Control or a related construction discipline.
  • Full membership of a relevant professional institution such as RICS, CABE, CIOB, or CIBSE.
