About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our team on the Woolverstone Macmillan Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a nurse-led outpatient haemato-oncology service and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the ward sisters in leading and developing the nursing team in this department.
  • Provide inspirational leadership to the department, be positively welcoming, effective and act as a credible role model.
  • Have well-developed communication, change management and organisational skills, with a positive attitude and share in our vision and commitment to continuously develop and improve.
  • Care for patients undergoing chemotherapy and haematology treatments.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Person Specification
  • Proven experience within Oncology / Haematology including the delivery of chemotherapy.
  • Experience at Band 5 level including the mentorship of students.
  • NMC Registration.
  • ENB 998 (or equivalent).
