Main Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a holistic, patient-centered approach.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive care plans, ensuring all staff follow said plans appropriately.
- Initiate and take responsibility for reporting and investigating incidents and complaints, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
- Work effectively within a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure the smooth running of the unit and deliver high-quality care.
- Develop and maintain key working relationships with the multi-professional team to facilitate discussion of complex issues involved in planning, implementing, and evaluating palliative care.
- Recent post-registration experience in a palliative care setting, including community.
- Current first or second-level Registered Nurse on the NMC register.
- Post-registration Palliative Care training (or willingness to work towards).
- Bereavement training.
- Practice Assessor/Practice Supervisor qualification.
- A competitive salary of £29,259 to £35,618 per annum.
