Sanctuary Personnel Ltd, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Children's Assessor to join their Children in Need Team on a permanent basis. Based in Harrow, this role offers a competitive salary of up to £49,425 per annum.

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking parenting assessments and viability assessments, as well as developing the skills, expertise, and knowledge of social workers completing court assessments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Completing high-quality assessments
  • Managing social workers around specific court and PLO tasks
  • Providing consultation, coaching, and mentoring within the service

The successful candidate will contribute to driving improvement for some of our most vulnerable children, achieving good outcomes for children being at the heart of all we do.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience of writing reports for court incorporating good evidence-informed social work analysis and consistently meeting court deadlines
  • Considerable experience in giving oral evidence in court
  • Range of knowledge spanning a number of specialised assessment areas including sexual abuse, domestic violence, and attachment
