About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Priory Kneesworth House. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered and evidence-based Occupational Therapy assessment and interventions to support service users with complex mental health treatment needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Occupational Therapy led services, utilizing Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment models to designated units or specified service user groups.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate Occupational Therapy interventions using evidence-based practice and recovery principles based on clinical treatment needs.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and Occupational Therapy teams.
  • Engage in supervision, CPD, and training.
  • Offer support and supervision to Occupational Therapy staff within allocated designated units and opportunity for Occupational Therapy students on practice placements.
Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
  • Registration with HCPC.
  • Experience of working in a healthcare setting and/or working with service users with mental health diagnoses would be desirable.
