Colas Ltd, a UK subsidiary of the global Colas Group, is seeking an Infrastructure Maintenance Specialist to join their Area 9 team. Based at Longbridge Depot, CV35 8AA, this role involves traveling and covering technology assets across the West Midlands network.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering technology cyclical works and response over their shift, carrying out cyclic maintenance in line with the Client, manufacturer, and British Standards. This includes electronic diagnostic checks on highways communications assets, preparing reports and documents as necessary, and assisting with project administration and control.

This is a challenging role that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification in an electrical or engineering discipline, previous experience working as a Technology Engineer on Highways (not essential), and essential electrical knowledge.

Main Responsibilities
  • Delivering technology cyclical works and response over their shift
  • Carrying out cyclic maintenance in line with the Client, manufacturer, and British Standards
  • Electronic diagnostic checks on highways communications assets
  • Preparing reports and documents as necessary
  • Assisting with project administration and control
Ideal Candidate
  • A relevant qualification in an electrical or engineering discipline
  • Previous experience working as a Technology Engineer on Highways (not essential)
  • Essential electrical knowledge
  • A UK driving licence (essential)
  • LGV C/CE desirable but not essential
Package Description

The salary for this role is between £34,000-£38,000 per annum, dependent on experience. Additional benefits include:
