Job Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our team as part of the Restart Scheme. As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our participants and clients. You will lead a team of Employment Advisors, Trainers, Assistant Employment Advisors, and Site Co-ordinators, inspiring them to achieve contractual performance and quality targets.

You will support your team in addressing barriers to employment faced by participants and ensuring that each person who works with your team leaves with the self-confidence and necessary skills required to secure and sustain employment. Our ideal candidate will have effective coaching and mentoring skills, experience in a supervisory role, and a high level of initiative and motivation.

We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate a good working knowledge of the local labour market in the advertised geographical locations. You will also need to be fully IT literate in using a range of Microsoft Office programmes, including 365 products and modern digital technologies, such as Microsoft Teams.

As an organisation, we deliver a range of Employability & Health contracts that support unemployed people back to work. This job role forms part of our Restart Scheme, which is a cornerstone of the government's Plan for Jobs strategy and the expansion of the existing Work and Health programme.

In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we are offering a competitive salary range of £29,858 to £32,585 p.a. (dependent on experience) with great benefits, including 25 days annual leave, 2 Volunteer Days, Pension, Healthcare Cash Plan, and Annual Pay Review.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet and strive to exceed personal and team performance targets (Key Performance Indicators).
  • Lead, inspire, motivate, and coach team(s) to achieve team and individual targets.
  • Work collaboratively with Business Manager and support functions, such as Employer Services, Integration, and SOTs, to support customer progression and achieve the best outcomes for customers.
  • Drive a high-performance culture in line with Seetec Pluss' vision and values.
Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Previous leadership/management experience.
  • A good working knowledge of the local labour market in the advertised geographical locations.
  • Fully IT literate in using a range of Microsoft Office programmes, including 365 products and modern digital technologies, such as Microsoft Teams.
  • Experience of working in a target-driven environment.
  • Experience of delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of the employability industry.
  • Knowledge of the recruitment industry.
  • Experience of working with people in 'advice & guidance' environments.
  • Full driving license.
