About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Traffic Engineer to join our West Midlands team at Waterman Aspen. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering traffic and local safety schemes, as well as managing public consultations and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver traffic and local safety schemes in accordance with UK design guidelines such as DMRB, TSRGD, LTN, and MfS guidance.
  • Manage public consultations and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure buy-in and support for projects.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and develop new business opportunities and grow the company's presence in the region.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive and innovative.
Requirements
  • Experience in the design and delivery of traffic and local safety schemes.
  • Good understanding of UK design guidelines such as DMRB, TSRGD, LTN, and MfS guidance.
  • Skilled in TRO applications and procedures.
  • Experience in managing public consultations and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD.
  • Desirable: Membership of relevant professional institution and a full UK driving licence.
