We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant with experience in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to support our pupils in a vibrant primary school in the UK. The ideal candidate will have a patient and compassionate approach to working with children, with a focus on fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with SEND in their day-to-day learning, providing one-on-one and small group assistance.
  • Assist the class teacher in implementing tailored education plans to meet the needs of SEND pupils.
  • Monitor and track pupil progress, communicating effectively with teaching staff and parents.
  • Encourage independence, positive behaviour, and social interaction among pupils.
  • Support the development of social skills, emotional regulation, and academic progress.

Qualifications and Experience: The successful candidate will require a minimum Level 2 or 3 qualification in a relevant subject, along with experience working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). A patient and compassionate approach is essential for this role, with a focus on delivering high-quality support to our pupils.
