Administrative Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled General Administrator to provide exceptional administrative support across our professional services team. This role includes responsibilities in financial and human resources administration as well as reception duties.
Key Responsibilities:- HR Responsibilities:
- Manage copying, filing, letter writing, and postal tasks.
- Handle data entry and modifications.
- Liaise with external agencies.
- Manage the school's HR email account and run HR reports.
- Finance Responsibilities:
- Conduct data entry and modifications.
- Handle purchases using the purchasing system.
- Manage the school's finance email account.
- Reception Responsibilities:
- Respond to all incoming enquiries and direct them as appropriate.
- Support with welcoming and managing visitors.
- Help plan and execute school events such as parents' evenings and information sessions.
- Serve as a First Aider, working as part of a team on a rota to deal with student illnesses and injuries.
- General Responsibilities:
- Maintain awareness of student safeguarding issues and refer information to the appropriate person when necessary.
- Uphold and promote the ethos and reputation of the school at all times.
- Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably within an educational or similar setting.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using standard office software and email systems.
- A commitment to professional ethics and safeguarding procedures.
- Flexible working hours, to be discussed at interview.
- Pro-rata salary based on hours worked.
