Atradius N.V. (Italy) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle Database Administrator to join its IT Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert-level support for the company's Oracle database estate, ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications and systems.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Oracle EBusiness and RDBMS, as well as a strong understanding of database architectures, software, and facilities. They will be responsible for setting standards for database and application administration, ensuring that procedures are documented and followed.

The Senior Oracle Database Administrator will also be responsible for managing database and application configurations, including installing, patching, and upgrading software servers and application tools. They will work closely with the team to ensure that all databases are fully covered for operational support, meeting Incident and Change SLAs, logging and monitoring, backup and recovery, operational reporting, and 24x7 on-call support.

The role requires a strong understanding of ITIL framework and the ability to work in a global commercial enterprise-level organization. The successful candidate will have a degree-level education or relevant work experience, as well as ITIL certification or relevant experience.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in Oracle EBusiness and RDBMS
  • Strong understanding of database architectures, software, and facilities
  • ITIL certification or relevant experience
  • Degree-level education or relevant work experience
  • Good spoken and written English
