About the Role

Atradius is seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle Database Administrator to join our CTO function. As a key member of our Oracle Database Team, you will be responsible for providing EBusiness Suite DBA Support activities and core Database Administration services for our business and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain Oracle databases to support our key Finance system, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Develop and maintain specialist knowledge of Oracle database concepts, object and data modelling techniques, and design principles.
  • Provide professional consultancy advice on complex requests, attending meetings to present proposals and solutions to stakeholders.
  • Set standards for database and application administration, ensuring procedures are documented, maintained, and followed.
  • Manage database and application configurations, including installing, patching, and upgrading software servers and application tools.
  • Participate in the team on-call rota, providing 24/7 support to customers.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in Oracle EBusiness and RDBMS, with knowledge of Data Guard configuration, RAC, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Golden Gate, and RMAN.
  • Good Unix Shell programming, SQL, and PL/SQL skills, with experience in Ansible automation.
  • Ability to work independently and self-directed, with great problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Experience of working in a global commercial enterprise-level organization and a 24x7 operational environment.
  • ITIL certification or relevant experience, with good spoken and written English.
