Investment Risk Manager

Insight Investment is seeking an experienced Investment Risk Manager to join our team in London. As a key member of our Investment Risk team, you will be responsible for providing and monitoring risk information in a timely manner, ensuring that data produced is accurate, relevant, and reliable.
Key Responsibilities:- Portfolio risk analysis, control, and reporting with a focus on Fixed Income strategies that have a specific targeted risk and/or cashflow outcome (Liability Driven Investment)
- Understand and take accountability for key portfolio risks, including analysis and evaluation of key risks, escalation of monitoring breaches, and proactive improvement of data quality and modelling approaches
- Help drive the ongoing and continued improvement of risk and analytics within the firm, including reviewing and validating proposed pricing and risk modelling changes, testing risk analytics systems, and collaborating with stakeholders
- Relevant experience in a risk role within the insurance, investment banking, or asset management industry, with some exposure to liability driven investing desirable
- Good mathematical knowledge obtained through an undergraduate degree in a STEM subject or Economics
- A working understanding of financial markets and product modelling, particularly Fixed Income instruments
- Very good problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to succinctly explain complex concepts and data to multi-disciplinary audiences
