About the Role

The Elizabeth School of London is seeking a Wellbeing Officer to join our London campus. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to our students throughout their academic journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct wellbeing meetings with students to discuss their problems and provide guidance and advice.
  • Analyse and identify wellbeing cases and share reports with the Wellbeing Manager.
  • Provide support to students experiencing emotional or practical difficulties that affect their learning.
  • Manage a caseload of student wellbeing matters, reviewing support needs and logging student outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other teams to establish and maintain productive relationships with colleagues across the university.
  • Plan and organise your own workload and contribute to longer-term plans and programmes.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Psychology, Education, or a related subject.
  • A willingness to train in Mental Health First Aid.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Sensitivity and empathy with students, colleagues, and staff.
  • Ability to deal with confidential matters and act with discretion.
Desirable Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Psychology or a Mental Health qualification.
  • Experience in producing and managing timetables in an educational context.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Evidence of working with a diversity of students.
  • Experience in risk assessments and crisis management.
