Job Title: UK Market Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced UK Market Development Manager to join our team in London. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to promote Hong Kong's trade with the world.

The successful candidate will have at least 8 years of solid working experience in trading, exhibition/event organisation, project management, public/corporate relations, or network/relationship building. You should have a strong understanding of Hong Kong economy, trade, and business arena, covering various Hong Kong industries, and markets and business opportunities for Hong Kong companies.

You will work closely with our Director, UK, Nordics & Ireland to perform major responsibilities in the London Office, including:

  • Developing and organising HKTDC's marketing and outreach activities in the UK and assigned territories to meet annual KPIs;
  • Establishing relationships with trade associations, chambers of commerce, and influencers in the UK and assigned territories to promote HKTDC's services and events;
  • Enhancing HKTDC's profile through effective messaging, consistent branding, and creative marketing campaigns;
  • Identifying new business opportunities of interest to Hong Kong companies through regular market research and market visits;
  • Prudently managing the marketing budget to ensure cost-effectiveness;
  • Exploring new avenues for promoting HKTDC on social media and engaging in community activities in the UK and assigned territories.

Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum.
