About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced HR Administrator to join our team at News UK. As an HR Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for all People Operations matters and will be responsible for delivering first-line HR support and administration to our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice and assistance to employees, line managers, and HR Business Partners across the organization.
  • Maintain accurate HR records on SAP, including identifying and correcting errors.
  • Coordinate and process new starters and leavers, including maternity, paternity, and adoption leave cases.
  • Maintain accurate benefit information via the BenefitsHub platform.
  • Compile and update employee records, ensuring compliance with UK data protection legislation.
  • Log and monitor sickness and absence.
  • Produce letters and draft contracts for contractual changes.
  • Compile redundancy calculation costs when required.
  • Answer Subject Access Requests.
  • Build and manage relationships with stakeholders.
  • Work closely with payroll to answer payroll-related queries.

Requirements:

  • Previous HR administration experience.
  • Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships across all levels of the business and seniority.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Previous experience with SAP is desired but not essential.
