Special Education Needs Tutor

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Tutor to join our team at Targeted Provision Ltd. As a SEN Tutor, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality educational support to young people with Special Education Needs (SEND) and other Additional Educational Needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD), or other Additional Educational Needs.
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the unique needs of each young person.
- Work collaboratively with our team of SEN Support Specialists to ensure seamless support for each young person.
- Conduct regular progress assessments and provide regular feedback to parents and carers.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting young people with SEND.
- Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status/QTS/QTLS)
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience
- Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or other Additional Educational Needs
- Experience, knowledge, and understanding of safeguarding processes
- Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
- Two professional references
- You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote/online assignments
- Flexible part-time hours to suit your schedule
