Special Needs Education Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support our special education students.
In this role, you will work closely with the special education teacher to implement Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and provide one-on-one support to students with special needs within the classroom setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the special education teacher in implementing EHCPs and providing tailored services and accommodations.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other educational professionals to ensure students receive the support they need.
- Monitor and track students' progress, providing regular updates to teachers and parents.
- Engage in professional development to continuously improve skills and knowledge in special education.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience working with special needs students is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain a positive, professional attitude.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting students with special needs.
