Senior Technical Underwriter

**Job Summary**

Cavendish Maine is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Underwriter to support the growth and development of their Commercial Underwriting team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in underwriting larger and more complex property and liability risks.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Deliver new business and renewal growth plans by focusing on larger and more complex Property and Liability risks that fall outside the existing Underwriting model.
* Work closely with Key Account Managers and the Underwriting team to grow and manage broker relations.
* Support the Head of Underwriting with governance, insurer relations, training, and other ad hoc tasks.

**Requirements**

* Extensive Commercial Property or Liability underwriting experience.
* In-depth knowledge of underwriting principles, risk assessment, and regulatory requirements.
