Cavendish Maine is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Underwriter to join their Commercial Underwriting team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in underwriting larger and more complex property and liability risks, working closely with the Head of Underwriting and Key Account Managers.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing underwriting strategies to drive growth and profitability.
- Providing technical expertise and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders.
- Identifying opportunities for product development and improvement.
- Supporting the Head of Underwriting with governance, insurer relations, and training.
Requirements:
- Extensive commercial property or liability underwriting experience.
- Previous experience working with MGAs or in a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Benefits:
- Salary up to £60,000 depending on experience.
- 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
