Job Description

The Lead Project Engineer will be responsible for leading the design and development of water treatment assets globally. This includes providing electrical and controls support for the execution of Bridge, Complex Mobile, and BOO projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical design and installations, with experience in PLC designs, troubleshooting, and integration.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead the electrical and controls design of water treatment assets globally.
  2. Provide Electrical / Controls support for the execution of Bridge, Complex Mobile and BOO projects.
  3. Skilled in Electrical / Control panel designs and equipment selection and sizing.
  4. Experience in PLC designs, troubleshooting, and integration - preferably in PLC - Allan Bradley and Siemens.
  5. Leading I/O checks, commissioning, and startups for newly designed equipment and plants.
  6. Document creation, review, and approvals.
  7. Collaborate with fabrication facilities, sourcing, and product management.
  8. Lead, coach, and train outsourced engineering, working closely on detailed designs and drawings.
  9. Site visits for commissioning and troubleshooting.
  10. Relevant water treatment experience.
  11. Qualifications or certifications in electrical design and installations.
  12. Good knowledge of water process, electrical control, and mechanical designs.
  13. Knowledge in PLC designs and integrations - Allan Bradley and Siemens.
  14. Experience directly in engineering design.
  15. Experience in a product/services business in water treatment.
  16. Strong water process and project management skills.
  17. Ability to drive projects and meet deadlines.
  18. Strong analytical and computer skills.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical design and installations, with experience in PLC designs, troubleshooting, and integration. Relevant water treatment experience and qualifications or certifications in electrical design and installations are also required. Good knowledge of water process, electrical control, and mechanical designs, as well as experience in a product/services business in water treatment, are highly desirable.
