Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team at Academics Ltd. This is a permanent role that will involve working in a diverse and supportive environment with a team of dedicated professionals who deliver high-quality education to children of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing support to class teachers in delivering lessons and developing schemes of work
  • Working with small groups and individuals to support their learning and progress
  • Leading whole class sessions and supporting assessment and feedback
  • Assisting in the preparation of teaching materials and resources
  • Providing feedback to teachers and parents on pupil progress
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualification in Education or Teaching Support (e.g. HLTA status, CACHE Level 4, NVQ Level 4 in Supporting Teaching and Learning)
  • Experience working as an HLTA in a primary or secondary school setting
  • Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and assessment framework
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment
