Job Title: Teaching Assistant - SEN

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Clarus Education Ltd. The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and a commitment to providing individualized support to meet the unique needs of each pupil.

About the Role:

  • Support children with SEN in a primary school setting
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons to meet the needs of pupils with SEN
  • Provide individualized support to pupils with Autism and speech and language needs
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to develop and implement strategies to support pupils with SEN

Requirements:

  • Experience in supporting children with SEN
  • Previous experience or training in de-escalation and/or positive behaviour support
  • Understanding and resilience when working with children with challenging behaviour needs
  • Ability to communicate effectively with adults and children
  • Positive attitude and sense of humour
