About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant in Greenwich. As a key member of our academy, you will play a vital role in supporting students with additional educational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work 1:1 with selected students, providing tailored support and guidance to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Support small groups in mainstream classes and the inclusion area through intervention sessions, helping to bridge the gap between students and their peers.
  • Collaborate with teachers to differentiate resources and set targets, ensuring students receive the best possible education.
Requirements

We are looking for an individual who is:

  • Committed to personal learning and development, with a genuine passion for sharing our values and drive for continuous improvement.
  • Experienced in working with young people, with a strong understanding of the importance of building positive relationships.
  • Qualified to GCSE level (or equivalent) in literacy and numeracy, with a strong foundation in education.
What We Offer

In return for your dedication and expertise, we offer a competitive salary of £85-£100 per day, based on 37 hours per week, Term Time + 1 week of inset. As a graduate considering a career in teaching, this role provides an ideal opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience and decide if education is right for you. We can then support you in applying for and securing a training position within our Trust.
