About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Estate Agent Senior Sales Negotiator and Property Valuer to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building a Residential Sales department from scratch, taking the lead on prospecting for new business, and growing the sales business through a structured marketing and property listing campaign.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take the lead on building a Residential Sales department by identifying new business opportunities and developing a pipeline of properties to sell.
- Book and attend market appraisals, win instructions, and build a pipeline of properties to sell.
- Upload new instructions to the system and maintain accurate records.
- Phone out on properties, book viewings, and negotiate offers on properties you have listed.
- Oversee a junior sales negotiator who will assist you with phoning out, viewing, and general sales negotiator duties.
- Respond to emails from stakeholders, vendors, solicitors, buyers, and other relevant parties.
- Update information within Excel spreadsheets and property software.
- Answer incoming calls and provide excellent customer service.
- SOURCE new business opportunities and maintain a general diary of office admin.
- Email the property database and assist with various clients/employees coming into the office.
- Maintain general housekeeping within the office.
Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience within Estate Agency and Residential Sales, including valuing properties and winning instructions.
- Confidence and ability to manage junior team members while exceeding targets.
- Motivation to grow the business organically, with the ultimate goal of building a team around you once business levels have reached a sufficient level.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and work with multinational individuals.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to use various Microsoft Office programs.
What We Offer:
- A competitive basic salary of £35,000 - £40,000 while you build the pipeline.
- A commission package will be put together once a pipeline is established, with the basic salary reducing accordingly.
- The opportunity to progress into a Branch Management position with an appropriately revised salary package.
- Company events and a company pension.
