About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Hygiene Operative to join our team at Greencore Group Ltd. As a key member of our factory operations, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain all equipment, production areas, and facilities to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any cleanliness or hygiene issues.
  • Report to the Hygiene Team Leader on stock levels and recommend replenishments to ensure adequate supplies of cleaning products and equipment.
  • Collaborate with the Hygiene Team Leader to develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety procedures and regulations.
  • Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a hygiene-based role, preferably in a manufacturing or food processing environment.
  • Health and Safety Level 2 certification.
  • Food Safety Level 2 certification.
  • COSHH Awareness training.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow written instructions and procedures.
